Location
Hartland is located where M-59 and US-23 meet allowing you a centrally located route whether you want to head into downtown Ann Arbor, Lansing, the metro Detroit area or westward toward the state capitol. To the south of Hartland is Brighton and to the north is Fenton and the west is Howell.
Demographics
Hartland Township is a civil township of Livingston County in Metro Detroit in Southeast Michigan located along M-59. The population was 15,405 at the 2018 census.
There were 3,696 households out of which 44.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.1% were married couples living together, 6.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 15.9% were non-families. 12.4% of all households in Hartland were made up of individuals and 3.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.96 and the average family size was 3.24.
